Brad deSilva, MD is a native of Columbus, OH and is excited to be serving his central Ohio community. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Kentucky where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with Magna Cum Laude honors. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine and received Cum Laude honors. He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and awarded the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Most Outstanding Medical Student Award. He completed his residency training with the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center where he served as the administrative chief resident. He was awarded the Most Outstanding Chief Resident Award by the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Following residency, he completed a Larynogology fellowship under the direction of L. Arick Forrest, MD at The Ohio State University Medical Center and JamesCare Voice and Swallowing Disorders Clinic. His clinical interests include voice and swallowing disorders, vocal cord paralysis, spasmodic dysphonia, glottic stenosis, tracheal stenosis, sinonasal disorders, thyroid/parathyroid disorders, and general/pediatric otolaryngology. His research interests include vocal cord paralysis, laryngeal EMG, laryngeal injury, and glottic/tracheal stenosis.
