Kamran Barin, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Director of Balance Disorders Program, at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He has a joint appointment with the Speech and Hearing Science Department and is also affiliated with the Biomedical Engineering Program.

Dr. Barin received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif (Arya-Mehr) University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.  He received his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

His interests include vestibular function testing and human postural control.
