Claudia Dome, Au.D., is an Audiologist at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Claudia received her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and her Doctorate in Audiology from the Ohio State University. Her interests include cochlear implants, otoacoustic emissions, and hearing aids.

Laura Feeney, Au.D., received her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and her Doctorate in Audiology from The Ohio State University. Her interests include diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing.


Laura GarishLaura Garish
Audiologist, OSU Hearing Professionals
Dr. Garish was born and grew up in Upper Arlington, Ohio. She attended Purdue University for two years before returning to Columbus to the Ohio State University, where she completed her undergraduate education in 1992. She continued her education at The University of Akron where she obtained her Master’s degree in 1994. After completing her clinical fellowship in Huntington, WV and directing the Huntington Ear Clinic’s Audiology department she again returned to Columbus in 1996. After a brief stint at a private practice she joined the Ohio State University Medical Center’s Department of Otolaryngology in 1997. Laura completed her clinical doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) in May of 2001 through the University of Florida. In addition to Dr. Garish’s clinical and rehabilitative practice, she is intimately involved and very committed to Project EAR, a non-profit organization dedicated to the eradication of hearing loss and ear disease in third world countries, particularly the Dominican Republic. Laura is a founding member, board member, and the treasurer of Project EAR.

Brenda HallBrenda Hall

Brenda Hall graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Master’s degree in Audiology.  She has been with the Department of Otolaryngology for over 10 years.  Her interests include basic audiological testing, working with cochlear implants, and hearing aid patients.


Debby LaPreteDebby LaPrete

Debby LaPrete graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University in 1989 and then earned her Master's degree in 1991 from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently working toward earning the clinical doctorate degree in Audiology. Debby has worked at Ohio State University since 1994 and specializes in providing services to cochlear implant and auditory brainstem implant recipients.

Melissa SchnitzspahnMelissa Schnitzspahn

Melissa Schnitzspahn received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the Ohio State University in 1998 and her Master’s degree in Audiology from the Ohio State University in 2000.In the summer of 2008, she received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.  She is currently working toward earning a clinical doctorate degree in Audiology.  Melissa’s interests include hearing aid dispensing and cochlear implants.


Gretchen WaggonerGretchen Waggoner
Audiologist, OSU Hearing Professionals
Gretchen Waggoner, Au.D. earned her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio University in 1994 and her Master of Science degree in Audiology from Bowling Green State University in 1996. She now holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Waggoner is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Ohio Academy of Audiology.  She is an active participant in humanitarian mission work with Project EAR.  Project EAR is a non-profit foundation created to provide ear/hearing healthcare services for impoverished patients in the Dominican Republic.  She has participated in seven mission trips and provides diagnostic services and prepares patients for hearing aid fittings.  Dr. Waggoner’s interests include diagnostic audiology, hearing aid dispensing, and rehabilitation.  Patients may see Dr. Waggoner at the Dublin location at 565 Metro Place South.
