Charles Elmaraghy, MD Charles Elmaraghy, MD is an Assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and active faculty member in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is board certified and received his fellowship training at Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. in Pediatric Otolaryngology.His career highlights include graduating summa cum laude at the Ohio State University in 1996 , achieving the highest USMLE Step 1 score in the nation in 1998 , graduating as valedictorian of the Ohio State College of Medicine in 2000, and obtaining the highest score in the nation in 2004 on the Annual Otolaryngology Inservice Examination. His career interests include sinus surgery, airway problems, head and neck masses, and general pediatric otolaryngology. He practices at Nationwide Children's Hospital where he is part of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. His responsibilities include training residents, medical students, and other health professionals. He is in charge of the medical student curriculum for the Department of Otolaryngology . He has given national presentations, authored publications, and also has taught an Otolaryngology course at the National AAP meeting in 2006.
