James Ruda, MD, one of the newest faculty members, is proud to be returning to the state of Ohio, having recently completed his fellowship training in North Carolina. He is a graduate of Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio where he performed his Otolaryngology residency for the past 6 years. He completed his medical school education at Penn State University College of Medicine. Dr. Ruda is an Assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and faculty member in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is board certified and received his fellowship training at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
His clinical interests include treatment of all facets of pediatric otolaryngology including sinusitis, hearing loss, pediatric disorders of the airway, swallowing, and voice, head and neck masses, and general pediatric otolaryngology. He practices at Nationwide Children's Hospital where he is part of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Dr. Ruda’s research Interests include treatment of pediatric sinusitis, otitis media and hearing loss, and obstructive sleep apnea..
