Meredith N. Merz Lind, MD, is a member of the Department of Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology- Head and Neck surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed additional fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego. She has been in practice in the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital since 2008. Dr. Lind is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow in both the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Lind’s clinical interest is primarily in disorders of the airway and aerodigestive system in children. She is the director of the multidisciplinary Pediatric Aerodigestive Disorders Clinic, which she started in 2009. In addition, she has interests in treating sinus and other head and neck issues in Cystic Fibrosis patients, as well as in thyroid nodules and masses, obstructive sleep apnea, disorders of the ears and nose, and all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology. She is the director of the Pediatric Otolaryngology portion of residency training at Ohio State and has initiated multiple simulation-related activities to enhance residency training. Her research interests include aspects of surgical education and in how simulation-based education programs improve clinical practice. She is also involved in multiple research projects regarding sinus disease in Cystic Fibrosis and in Airway and Aerodigestive disorders in children.
Dr. Lind currently sees patients at the Main Campus, Dublin and Westerville locations and at Dayton Children’s Medical Center.
