Patrick Walz, MD, is a member of the Department of Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Walz received his medical degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2008 and went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Walz spent an additional year of fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Walz works with Otolaryngology residents and fellows and assists in the education of medical students. His clinical and research interests primarily focus on problems relating to congenital and acquired masses of the head and neck, thyroid and parathyroid masses, nasal and skull base lesions, pediatric airway disorders, sleep apnea and all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology and facial reconstructive surgery.
He currently sees patients at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Main Campus, Springfield Close to Home, and Westerville Close to Home locations.
