Theodoros Teknos, MD
Theodoros N. Teknos, MD is a Professor at The Ohio State University Medical School, serves as Vice Chairman for the Department of Otolaryngology, the Director of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery and the inaugural holder of the David E. and Carole H. Schuller Chair in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. He comes to The Ohio State University Medical Center /James Cancer Hospital after serving 11 years at the University of Michigan Health System.

Head and neck oncology, head and neck microvascular reconstructive surgery, skull base surgery, vascular tumors (paragangliomas), thyroid and parathyroid tumors, salivary gland tumors, aggressive skin cancers, airway stenosis and Zenker’sdiverticulum
Research Interests
Molecular predictors of aggressive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, molecular predictors of organ preservation, experimental therapeutics in head and neck cancer treatment, angiogenesis and tumor microenvironment therapies.
