Rekha Raveendran, MD

Dr. Raveendran is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Sinus and Allergy.

Dr. Raveendran received her medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Medical Universities College of Medicine.  She completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

After fellowship she worked in a private practice allergy office in Maryland for 3 years before returning to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2015.

Clinical Interests:
Dr. Raveendran’s practice focuses on treating both adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of allergic and immunologic disorders.  Allergic disorders include: allergic rhinitis/conjunctivitis, asthma, food allergies, eczema, drug allergies, stinging insect allergy.

Immunologic disorders include:  Common variable immunodeficiency, antibody disorders, urticarial/angioedema (hives and swelling), eosinophilia, and primary immune deficiency

Dr. Raveendran has particular clinical interests in Allergic rhinitis and allergy immunotherapy (shots) and aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD).
