Stephen Nogan, MD

Dr. Stephen Nogan is a facial plastic surgeon in Columbus, Ohio who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck.

His clinical practice focuses primarily on facial cosmetic surgery, including facelift, mini-lift, rhinoplasty, brow lift, blepharoplasty, neck lift, facial implants, fat transfer, liposuction, laser resurfacing, facial fillers and botox. He also has expertise in skin cancer reconstruction and facial trauma surgery.

 Prior to establishing his practice, he completed a rigorous five-year residency in Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University, followed by a one-year fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery under Dr. Michael Sullivan and Dr. Stephen Smith. A native of western Pennsylvania, he received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University.

 Dr. Nogan is also involved in research, surgical education and humanitarian efforts. His research interests include functional outcomes after rhinoplasty, advanced techniques in aging neck surgery, reconstruction after dog bites and auto accidents, and facial trauma education through simulation. He is actively involved in the education of Head and Neck Surgery resident surgeons at Ohio State and in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He has received several grants and awards for his humanitarian work in Latin America, and he serves on the board of directors of a global humanitarian surgery organization.
